Specializing in Western horsemanship and English equitation with an emphasis on communication, safety and consistency.
Steph has over a decade of experience teaching beginning and intermediate riders of all abilities and ages. Some of that experience comes from working at summer camps as a wrangler and eventually, the horse program director in Colorado. She also served as an instructor and volunteer coordinator at a therapeutic riding program in Georgia. Steph rides and teaches both english and western, as has many hours of trail guiding and some packing experience. Her lessons focus of safety, fun, relationship building and the advancement of riding skills. She has also been certified through American Association of Horsemanship Safety and PATH, Intl. Currently, Steph is employed as an instructor and horse program assistant at Heartland Girls Ranch.
